Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Dentist for a 52-day locum tenens assignment in Arizona, starting Feb 2, 2026. This full-time opportunity features day shifts, Monday through Friday, with flexible scheduling options of 4x10s or 5x8s. The ideal candidate is proficient in exodontia (preferred but not required) and comfortable working in high-volume clinical environments.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Maintain responsibility for the overall management of dental services to each patient
- Perform dental assessments, radiographic exams, and a full spectrum of dental treatments, including emergency oral surgery, restorative dentistry, and periodontal therapy within general dentistry
- Formulate working diagnoses, develop and implement treatment plans, and evaluate or modify therapeutic regimens
- Evaluate patients returning from offsite dental visits
- Participate in training and orientation of healthcare staff
- Provide oral hygiene education and discharge instructions to patients
- Supervise and coach dental assistants
- Ensure proper sterilization and disinfection of equipment
Additional Information
- Active Arizona dental license required
- Certifications required: Basic Life Support (BLS), Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
- Experience with TechCare EMR preferred
- Background check, TB, and drug testing required prior to start
- Seasoned dentists and those with high-volume clinic experience strongly preferred
