Job Description

We are seeking an experienced General Dentist for a 116-day locum tenens assignment with our client in North Carolina. This opportunity begins on Feb 2, 2026, and features a Monday through Thursday schedule, 7:45am to 5:00pm. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a supportive, high-volume setting and providing same-day dentistry to a substantial new patient flow.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Deliver comprehensive general dentistry services to patients
  • Provide same-day dental care and manage a high volume of new patients
  • Perform examinations, diagnoses, and develop treatment plans
  • Carry out routine and restorative dental procedures
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive dental care
  • Collaborate with a friendly, supportive clinical team
  • Utilize Dentrix EMR for documentation and patient management
  • Adhere to all applicable dental practice standards and protocols


Additional Information

  • Active North Carolina dental license required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and DEA certification required
  • Experience with high patient flow and DeNovo practice settings preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential
