Job Description

We are seeking an experienced General Dentist for a 30-day locum tenens assignment in Ohio, beginning Apr 22, 2026. This opportunity features an 8am-5pm schedule, Monday through Thursday, and focuses on bread and butter dentistry while providing support to hygiene with up to three checks per hour. Comfort with endodontics is a plus. Proficiency with Dentrix is required for this role.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Deliver comprehensive general dentistry care, including examinations, diagnoses, and treatments
  • Perform routine dental procedures and restorative care
  • Conduct up to three hygiene checks per hour while supporting patient needs
  • Provide bread and butter dentistry; endodontic experience is a plus
  • Utilize Dentrix software for patient records and treatment planning
  • Collaborate effectively with dental assistants and hygienists
  • Maintain compliance with clinic protocols and standards
  • Ensure a clean and safe clinical environment

Additional Information
  • Active Ohio dental license required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and DEA certification required
  • Previous experience as a practicing dentist is essential
