Job Description

We are seeking an experienced General Dentist for a 39-day locum tenens assignment with our client in North Carolina. This opportunity begins on Feb 2, 2026, and offers a schedule of Monday through Wednesday, with shift options from 7am to 6pm or 8am to 5pm. The role focuses on bread and butter general dentistry, including simple endodontic procedures and same day conversions, within a practice utilizing Dentrix EMR. Candidates must be proficient in general dentistry and comfortable managing a variety of routine dental cases.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Deliver comprehensive general dentistry care, including examinations, diagnoses, and treatments
  • Perform bread and butter dental procedures, including fillings, crowns, and extractions
  • Complete simple endodontic procedures
  • Manage same day conversions as needed
  • Utilize Dentrix for patient charting and treatment planning
  • Ensure high-quality patient care in all interactions
  • Maintain compliance with clinical protocols and safety guidelines

Additional Information
  • Valid North Carolina dental license required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and DEA certification required
  • Experience with Dentrix EMR preferred
