Job Description
General Dentist – Temporary Assignment
Location: Alpine, TX
Dates: April 20, 2026 – August 7, 2026
Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 8:00 am–5:00 pm (12:00–1:00 lunch)
We are seeking a General Dentist for a temporary assignment in Alpine, Texas, supporting an FQHC clinic. This role serves a diverse patient population ranging from toddlers to geriatric patients.
Position Details:
- Average of 7–10 patients per shift
- Bread-and-butter general dentistry
- Procedures include exams, cleanings, fillings, crowns, extractions, dentures, and root canals
- General dentistry and hygiene support
- Bilingual providers preferred
Support & Systems:
- Two dental assistants and front desk support
- Charting: Dentrix
- Scheduling: NextGen
Requirements:
- Texas dental license
- Texas Medicaid enrollment (required)
- Nitrous certification
- Ability to credential as soon as possible
