I hope you’re doing well. I’m reaching out regarding a rewarding locum opportunity with a Tribal Health / IHS facility in South Dakota that is seeking a General Dentist for a 6-month assignment.
This is a great opportunity for a provider who enjoys bread-and-butter dentistry, a consistent weekday schedule, and the chance to serve an underserved community in a meaningful way.
Position Details:
• Bread-and-butter general dentistry
• Start date: Late March or early April
• Credentialing timeframe: 4–6 weeks
• 8–10 patients per day (manageable patient volume)
• Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• 6-month commitment
This role offers a structured clinical setting, supportive staff, and the opportunity to make a significant impact within the community. The patient volume allows for quality-focused care without the pressure of high production expectations.
