Locum Tenens Dentist Opportunity – Hamden, CT
Function: General Dentist
Location: Hamden, Connecticut 06514
Start Date: ASAP
Assignment Type: Locum Tenens (Replacement coverage)
Schedule:
- Monday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Wednesday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- (Tuesday–Thursday include a 1-hour lunch break)
Practice Setting:
- 100% Outpatient
- High-volume practice: 30+ patients per day (including hygiene checks)
- Charting system: Dentrix
Clinical Scope:
- Basic restorative dentistry
- Fillings, crowns, bridges
- Partials and removable prosthodontics
- Root canals and extractions preferred (can refer out if needed)
Support Staff:
- Office Manager
- 1 Dental Assistant
- 2 Hygienists
Requirements:
- Active Connecticut dental license
- BLS certification
Credentialing:
- Estimated timeframe: 1–2 weeks
Compensation & Coverage:
- Pay rate: Negotiable
- Travel & lodging: Not provided
- Arthur Marshall pays weekly
- Dental malpractice insurance covered
