Hello,
We recently partnered with a new client in North Carolina that is seeking additional locum dentist support. They offer a flexible schedule and are open to providers working anywhere from 3–5 days per week. Position Overview:

On-site dental company serving skilled nursing and long-term care facilities in the Greenville and Wilmington, NC areas

Lodging is provided, along with a company vehicle (or mileage reimbursement if you prefer to use your own car)
Practice & Schedule Details:

The company currently operates 8 mobile units, with 5 in use, and plans to expand to 12–16 units by the end of the year

Typical day begins at 8:00 AM, with travel time to facilities ranging from 15–60 minutes (providers may also meet the team directly on-site)

Setup takes approximately 30 minutes; providers typically see 16–25 patients per day

Efficient workflow with dedicated chairs for hygiene, exams/procedures, and triage/X-rays
Team & Clinical Scope:

Standard team includes 1 dentist, 1 hygienist, and 1 manager, with additional support from facility MAs and RNs

Procedures primarily include extractions, denture adjustments, and fillings

Endodontics and implants are not required for locum providers

Patient population is approximately 80% Medicaid; Medicaid credentialing is not required
Patient Population:
-
Patients often have complex medical histories or disabilities, so providers should be comfortable working in a skilled nursing or long-term care environment
Requirements:

Active North Carolina dental license required
