Job Description
We are seeking a Dentist for a 48-day assignment in California, starting Mar 10, 2026. The role involves performing examinations, diagnosing conditions, and providing a range of restorative and preventive dental care. Shifts are generally 8am to 5:30pm, handling both routine and urgent dental cases while coordinating with support staff.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform comprehensive and limited dental exams, diagnose conditions, and recommend treatment plans.
- Provide restorative and preventive dental care, including fillings, sealants, crown preparations, bridges, dentures, and partials.
- Handle emergency evaluations for pain or infection as they arise.
- Coordinate care or referrals with hygienists, assistants, and specialists as appropriate.
- Manage diagnostic X-rays and develop treatment plans.
- Provide preventive care and patient education.
- Conduct simple restorative follow-ups and adjustments.
- Perform denture relines and adjustments.
- Wrap up patient notes, review the next day’s schedule, and hand off any follow-up needs to the permanent staff.
