Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Dentist for a locum tenens opportunity in Ohio, starting Mar 23, 2026. This 30-day assignment involves performing general dentistry procedures for patients of all ages, including hygiene, cleanings, prevention, and crown & bridge work during 8-hour shifts. The Dentist will manage daily patient cases, ensuring efficient completion of procedures and comprehensive documentation within the EMR system.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Review the EMR system for an overview of all daily cases.
  • Efficiently complete a full range of dental procedures throughout the day.
  • Provide comprehensive reports on patient care and outcomes.
  • Manage general dentistry cases for all ages, with a focus on hygiene, cleanings, and prevention.
  • Perform procedures involving crown and bridge work, often managing double columns.
  • Undertake optional work with dentures and partials as needed.
  • Deliver a full scope of dental preventative, restorative, and cosmetic procedures.
  • Refer out most root canals and extractions to specialists.
