Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Dentist for a 96-day assignment in New York, commencing Jul 20, 2026. This role involves providing comprehensive general dentistry in a private practice, managing multiple treatment columns daily. The schedule typically spans full days, focusing on a diverse range of procedures including restorative work, crown and bridge, and a significant volume of denture cases, often with phobic patients requiring a patient chairside manner.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide general dentistry services, covering three treatment columns daily, supported by two dental assistants.
  • Manage a high volume of production cases, including dentures, extractions, and crown and bridge procedures.
  • Handle a variety of cases such as restorative, crown, bridge, fillings, nitrous, new patients, adjustments, and emergency dental cases.
  • Attend to a patient load of approximately 9-11 restorative and exam cases per day.
  • Maintain an empathetic and patient chairside manner, particularly with phobic patients, for whom the practice has extensive experience.
  • Opportunity to participate in one Ivy sedation day per month if comfortable, focusing on extractions and larger cases, supported by an onsite anesthesia team.

  • Shift hours: 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM or 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
