Job Description
We are seeking a Pediatric Dentistry Dentist for an exciting 120-day assignment in New York, beginning Apr 20, 2026. This role involves managing a high volume of pediatric patients aged 0-18, including those with special needs, performing a wide range of dental procedures, and handling critical sedation cases. Daily shifts are scheduled from 9 AM to 7 PM within an accelerated practice setting.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide comprehensive dental care to pediatric patients aged 0-18, including those with special needs.
- Manage an average of 60 patients per day, with daily volumes ranging from 40 to 120 patients depending on the time of year.
- Work within an accelerated schedule, managing 5-6 columns per doctor.
- Administer Nitrous Oxide, Office Based Anesthesia (general anesthesia), and Hospital Sedation (general anesthesia).
- Perform a variety of dental procedures including hygiene, fillings, extractions, cleanings, stainless steel crowns, space maintainers, pulpotomies, pulpectomies, X-rays, fluoride treatments, and sealants.
- Handle sedation cases as a mandatory part of the role.
Additional Information
- Board Certification in Pediatric Dentistry is required.
- Experience with Eaglesoft EMR system.
- Proficiency in sedation cases is essential.
