Lead General Dentist
Location: South-Central Iowa

A growing, mission-driven healthcare organization is seeking a Lead General Dentist to step into a high-demand, community-centered practice. This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a modern dental clinic while delivering meaningful care to an underserved population.
You will practice in an integrated healthcare environment alongside medical, behavioral health, and pharmacy teams—designed to improve patient outcomes and expand access to care.
The Opportunity

Practice Environment
- Digital dentistry (digital x-ray, intraoral scanning)
- Established clinical support: hygienists and dental assistants
- Integrated setting with medical and behavioral health services
- Efficient workflows designed for productivity and quality
Schedule & Volume
- Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- 16–18 patients per day (including hygiene exams)
- Patient mix: primarily adult with some pediatric patients
Scope of Practice
- Restorative dentistry
- Extractions
- Crowns and bridges
- Dentures
- Simple root canals
- Preventive care and hygiene exams
Compensation
- Base salary: $170,000 – $200,000+ (flexible based on experience)
- Quarterly production bonus: $50 per encounter above target
- Annual quality bonus tied to performance
Additional Incentives
- Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance up to $20,000
- Student loan repayment eligibility (NHSC/state programs up to $50,000)

Qualifications
- DDS or DMD from an accredited program
- Eligible for or licensed in Iowa
