Job Description
Join Elevate Healthcare Consultants, a leading healthcare provider, as a Locum Dentist in Central CA. This full-time position requires a capable dentist who can perform B&B dentistry, root canal work, and some surgical extractions.
As part of our team, you will handle 18-20 patients per day in an 8-hour shift, or 20-22 patients in a 9-hour shift if you prefer. The age range of patients is primarily adults, comprising 60% of the patient base. The dental group is an FQHC, and the reason for coverage includes growth, leaves, and time off.
The schedule is flexible, with options for 5 8-hour days or 4 9-hour days per week, including one evening shift per week and one Saturday per month. Support staff includes 1 DDS/DMD, 2 back office staff, and 1 dental assistant. Use of the EClinicalWorks Dental EMR system is required.
Requirements include Medicaid/Medicare patient acceptance and BLS certification. COVID vaccination is not required. Credentialing and payor paneling timeframes are 30-45 days and 30 days, respectively.
