Dentist - MA

Our client in Massachusetts is seeking a skilled Dentist for a 60-day assignment starting May 11, 2026. This role involves covering a primary location as the sole dentist, with flexibility to work across multiple nearby sites. The schedule offers varying shifts including 6:30 AM-3:00 PM, 12:00 PM-8:30 PM, and 7:30 AM-3:00 PM, focusing on a comprehensive range of general dentistry cases from fillings and crowns to bridges, extractions, and anterior/premolar endodontics.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Serve as the sole dentist, primarily covering one location with openness to supporting multiple nearby sites.
• Work within a practice operating 2 chairs/columns out of 3.
• Manage a diverse caseload of general dentistry, including fillings, crowns, bridges, extractions, and anterior/premolar endodontics.
• Perform crown preparations, extractions, and composite restorations (2-3 per quadrant).
• Handle crown deliveries and simple basic procedures like night guards.
• Collaborate with 1-2 hygienists for hygiene checks.
• Oversee hygiene appointments, averaging 2 per hour over a 7.5-hour day.
• Manage up to 14 total patients per day, including 8-9 operative patients requiring drill work.
• Be prepared for a practice with approximately 100 new patients monthly.
• Work varying shifts: 6:30 AM-3:00 PM, 12:00 PM-8:30 PM, and 7:30 AM-3:00 PM.
