General Dentist Need – Kuna, ID (Boise Area) | June Start | Ongoing Coverage
We are seeking an experienced General Dentist for a long-term locum tenens opportunity in Kuna, Idaho, just outside Boise, starting June 15, 2026 through December 31, 2026.
Schedule:
- Monday – Thursday
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- 116 total days
Practice Details:
- Adult patients + some cooperative pediatrics
- EMR: Dentrix
- Support staff: TBD
Procedures & Scope:
- Fillings, crowns, bridges
- Full & partial dentures
- Root canals
- Simple & surgical extractions
- Invisalign
- Hygiene checks
- Implant placement & restoration
Providers can refer out complex cases as needed.
Ideal Candidate:
- Strong bread-and-butter dentistry experience
- Invisalign certification preferred
- WaveOne Rotary experience preferred
- Excellent patient communication and bedside manner
Requirements:
- Active Idaho dental license (required)
- BLS certification (required)
- DEA (preferred)
- Nitrous Oxide certification (if required by state)
Credentialing:
- ~1 week turnaround from offer to start
- TB Test (QGold) required within 3 days of accepting offer
- Credentialing team will coordinate testing
