Position Summary

The General Dentist provides comprehensive dental care to adult and pediatric patients in a community health center setting. The ideal candidate is clinically confident, comfortable working independently, and passionate about serving underserved populations.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform comprehensive exams, diagnoses, and treatment planning
  • Provide preventive, restorative, and emergency dental care
  • Complete simple and surgical extractions
  • Deliver endodontic and limited prosthodontic procedures as appropriate
  • Educate patients on oral health and preventive care
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
  • Collaborate with dental assistants, hygienists, and support staff in a team-based environment

Qualifications

  • DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
  • Active Kansas dental license or eligibility
  • DEA registration or eligibility
  • CPR/BLS certification
  • 1+ years of clinical experience preferred
  • Experience in community health or public health settings is a plus

Schedule

  • 5 days per week
  • 8-hour shifts
  • Clinic hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
