General Dentist Florida

A well-established dental practice in Jacksonville, Florida is seeking a General Dentist for a temporary assignment beginning immediately and continuing until a permanent provider is secured. Assignments are typically up to 60 days in duration.

Schedule

• Monday–Thursday: 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 7:45 AM – 1:00 PM

Patient Volume

• Average 15–20 patients per day

Practice Environment

• Modern dental office utilizing Denticon EMR
• Supported by:
  • Office Manager
  • Two Dental Assistants
  • Dental Hygienist

Required Clinical Experience

The ideal provider should be comfortable performing a broad range of general dentistry procedures, including:

• Basic restorative dentistry
• Fillings
• Crown and bridge work
• Extractions
• Bone grafting
• Alveoplasty
• Anterior and premolar endodontics
• Prosthodontics, including dentures and partial dentures
• Scaling and root planing

Preferred Skills

• Implant placement
• Molar endodontics

Patient Demographics

• Primarily adult patient population
• Occasional pediatric patients ages 7 and older
• Limited pediatric procedures; complex pediatric cases are referred out
• Providers should be comfortable evaluating and treating cooperative pediatric patients when appropriate
