Dentist - SC

We are seeking an experienced Dentist for a 140-day locum tenens assignment in SC, starting Aug 10, 2026. This vital role involves providing mobile dentistry services within school districts, with shifts typically running from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The successful candidate will perform a range of essential dental services, including hygiene checks, exams, x-rays, sealants, and fillings, with the capacity to handle occasional extractions, ensuring comprehensive oral care for students.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Deliver mobile dentistry services to students across various school districts.
• Perform routine dental procedures, including hygiene checks, comprehensive exams, x-rays, sealants, and fillings.
• Handle urgent dental needs, including extractions, when a tooth cannot be saved.
• Operate within a typical shift schedule of 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM or 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM.

Additional Information

• Experience with pulpotomies/pulpectomies is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with using rubber dams for fillings is beneficial.
