General Dentist (ASAP Ongoing / Locums to Perm) | Knoxville, TN

A well-established, community-focused dental practice in Knoxville is seeking an experienced General Dentist for an immediate, ongoing clinical assignment. This position provides an ideal opportunity for a provider focused on efficient, high-volume care within a rewarding, public health-oriented community practice.

The provider will step into an optimized, collaborative workflow supported by a dedicated team of two dental assistants and an experienced dental hygienist.

The Role:

• Location: Knoxville, TN 37901
• Schedule: Monday through Thursday (No weekends)
• Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Includes a 1-hour lunch break)
• Patient Volume: 10–12 restorative procedures per day, plus routine hygiene checks
• Clinical Scope: Comprehensive bread-and-butter treatment, stainless steel crowns, pulpotomies, composite fillings, simple extractions, and endodontics (required)
• Tech Stack: Dentrix Ascend charting platform
• Preferred Skills: Strong preference for a provider with 1–2 years of post-graduate experience who is highly comfortable navigating an insurance and Medicaid-heavy patient mix
• Compensation: Competitive pay rate + comprehensive malpractice insurance coverage. [This position requires a local commuter; travel and lodging accommodations are not provided. Alignment with a daily production of a $6,000 – $7,000 baseline is expected.]
