Locum Tenens Dentist (Implant Focused) | Columbus, OH

A busy, specialized dental practice in Columbus is seeking an experienced clinician to step into a thriving locum tenens role. This high-volume position offers an immediate opportunity to impact a robust patient base with the potential for long-term permanent placement.

The incoming provider will operate as the sole clinician at this location, fully backed by an efficient, streamlined support team including a practice manager, a treatment coordinator, two dental assistants, and an on-site lab technician.

The Role:

• Location: Columbus, OH 43240
• Schedule: Monday – Friday (3-month contract with options to extend or transition to permanent)
• Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Patient Volume: 8–16 patients per day (A mix of consultations and procedures, adjusted dynamically for complex cases)
• Clinical Scope: Focus on adult and geriatric care featuring single/double arch implants, All-on-4, snap-in dentures, and simple extractions (complex cases may be referred out)
• Tech Stack: Open Dental charting software
• Preferred Skills: Strong history with implants (All-On-4 required), advanced prosthodontics, and surgical extractions; preference for candidates holding a current CSR/DEA
• Compensation: Competitive daily pay rate + comprehensive malpractice insurance coverage. Mileage and lodging assistance are available if necessary, though local candidates are preferred.
