Locum Tenens Dentist (Mon–Thu) | Morristown, TN

A thriving dental practice in Morristown, TN is seeking a skilled clinician for an ongoing locum tenens engagement, with locum-to-permanent options available. The practice serves a broad patient mix of primarily adults and children, transitioning toward expanded PPO and fee-for-service care.

Clinical operations run efficiently alongside a full support team consisting of 2 Dental Assistants and a Dental Hygienist to ensure a streamlined daily workflow.

The Role:

• Location: Morristown, TN 37814
• Schedule: Monday – Thursday (Minimum 2 to 3 month commitment requested with options to extend)
• Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch at 12:00 PM or 12:30 PM)
• Patient Volume: 12–14 procedures plus approximately 10 hygiene checks per day ($5,000/day production target)
• Clinical Scope: General dentistry, restorative care, crowns, bridges, and endodontics/root canals (required)
• Tech Stack: Dentrix Ascend
• Preferred Skills: Proficiency in endodontic procedures; experience with or comfort treating Medicaid patient populations
• Compensation: Competitive pay rate + comprehensive malpractice insurance coverage (Travel and lodging accommodations provided based on production volume)

What is Needed:

• Credentials: Active TN License, DEA, and current BLS certification.
