Position Overview
A busy and growing dental practice is seeking a General Dentist to provide comprehensive dental care in a supportive, patient-focused environment. The practice welcomes experienced providers and new graduates alike and offers a strong support staff, established patient flow, and modern technology.

Clinical Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive New Patient Exams
- Fillings/Restorative Dentistry
- Crowns and Bridges (start crown treatment plans)
- Full and Partial Dentures
- Simple Extractions
- Surgical Extractions

Important Scope Notes:
- Provider will see new patient comprehensive exams, fillings, and surgical extractions.
- Crowns may be prepared and started, but providers will not be expected to seat crowns started by another dentist.
- No root canal procedures are required.
- Practice Environment

Facility Details:
- 7 operatories / treatment rooms
- Digital imaging, including panoramic X-rays
- No sedation services offered

Daily Workflow:
- Heavy new patient volume with walk-in patients accepted
- Approximately 6-7 hygiene checks per day
- Emergency appointment slots reserved when scheduling permits
- Daily morning huddle at 9:30 AM

Documentation & Charting:
- EMR: OpenDental
- Dentist documents clinical findings and treatment recommendations
- Front office team assists with creating treatment plans and care planning

Patient Population:
- Adult and pediatric patients
- Pediatric experience preferred for restorative treatment of patients ages 5 and older
- Medicaid patient care required

Qualifications:
- Required
- DDS or DMD
- Active state dental license
- BLS/CPR certification
