Locum Tenens General Dentist (Mon–Thu) | Montgomery, AL

An established practice in Montgomery, Alabama, is seeking a skilled General Dentist for an ongoing locum tenens assignment to support patient care while recruiting for a permanent role. This opportunity features a desirable four-day workweek with options for a locum-to-permanent transition.

Clinical workflow is streamlined with full chairside support from two dental assistants and two dental hygienists.

The Role:

• Location: Montgomery, AL
• Schedule: Monday – Thursday (3 to 6-month initial commitment with option to extend)
• Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM)
• Patient Volume: 10–12 procedures per day plus 14–16 hygiene checks
• Clinical Scope: General dentistry including composite fillings, stainless steel crowns, bridges, simple extractions, and endodontic extractions
• Tech Stack: Dentecon EMR
• Preferred Skills: 2+ years of general dentistry experience preferred
• Compensation: Competitive pay rate + comprehensive malpractice insurance coverage (all-inclusive rate setup)

What is Needed:

• Credentials: Active Alabama Dental License, active DEA, and current BLS certification.
• Onboarding: 3–4 weeks fast-track onboarding.
• Practice Fit: An efficient, production-driven clinician capable of managing a primary adult patient demographic (90% adults).
