Job Details:
- Join 3 Dentists in a busy practice, need is due to volume
- 4 day work week

Responsibilities
- Perform general dentistry procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, and root canal therapy with precision and care
- Conduct patient assessments to determine treatment needs while explaining procedures clearly and compassionately
- Utilize dental terminology accurately to communicate diagnoses and treatment plans effectively
- Assist with oral surgery procedures such as dental extractions and other surgical interventions following aseptic techniques
- Implement infection control protocols in accordance with HIPAA regulations and industry standards to ensure patient safety
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, medical records, and dental records using practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix
- Collaborate with the dental team to deliver four-handed dentistry for efficient patient care and comfort
- Use medical imaging tools to diagnose issues related to anatomy knowledge and plan appropriate treatments
- Stay current with advancements in pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and other specialties relevant to general dentistry practice
Qualifications
- Valid state license to practice dentistry as an Associate Dentist or equivalent credential
- Proven experience in dental office or clinic settings with proficiency in dental fabrication, root canal therapy, and dental extractions
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medical documentation standards, and infection control practices
- Familiarity with electronic health records systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly preferred
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs thoroughly and communicate effectively
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality and privacy of patient information
- Ability to work efficiently within a team environment while maintaining high standards of clinical excellence
- Prior experience in pediatric dentistry or working with diverse patient populations is a plus
