ICON Dental is seeking an experienced General or Pediatric Dentist for a locum tenens opportunity in Mobile, Alabama.

Assignment Details

Location: Mobile, Alabama
Start Date: ASAP
Assignment Length: 13 weeks or longer
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Practice Type: Pediatric / DSO

What You’ll Do

• Provide bread-and-butter dentistry
• Conduct comprehensive oral examinations and diagnose dental conditions
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans
• Perform procedures such as fillings, cleanings, extractions, and root canals
• Educate patients and caregivers on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Provide prescriptions as needed
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, including X-rays and treatment histories
• Refer patients to specialists, such as orthodontists or oral surgeons, when necessary
• Follow all safety, OSHA, and infection-control standards

Requirements

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
• Active, unrestricted Alabama dental license or currently in the process of obtaining one
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• DEA registration
• NPI number

Compensation and Benefits

• 1099 independent contractor
• Weekly pay
• Malpractice coverage provided
