GENERAL DENTIST – Effingham, Illinois
Weekly Pay • Consistent Schedule • Supportive Team Environment
The Opportunity
Join a short-term assignment with the enthusiastic and connected team at a practice, located in Effingham, IL. This opportunity is ideal for a motivated and easy-going provider who enjoys working in a collaborative, camaraderie-focused office culture. Additionally, this is well-suited for a provider who is experienced in Invisalign, general dentistry, and OS. This position is seeking a provider to assist with exams and emergency visits while maintaining smooth patient flow alongside a supportive and energetic team.
Temp Position - Maternity leave
Start Date: 1/5/2027
End Date: 3/31/2027
Schedule:
Tuesday-Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM

What You’ll Do
• Examining patients to determine oral health needs, utilizing x-rays and other diagnostic equipment and procedures
• Provide exams and emergency dental care in an outpatient setting
• Deliver efficient, patient-focused treatment while maintaining daily workflow
• Assist with leading and supervising office team members
• Staying productive during both slower and busier teams
• Focus on patient experience and support a developing office
• Maintain accurate documentation and continuity of care
Requirements
• DDS or DMD from an accredited program
• Active state dental license
• Prior dental experience required
• Clinical knowledge to practice comprehensive dentistry, including diagnosis and treatment of oral health issues
• Comfortable handling exams and emergency visits in a fast-paced setting
