I’m currently working with a well-established Family Dental practice that is actively seeking a General Dentist for a permanent opportunity in Birmingham, Alabama. Position Overview

• Growing private cosmetic and family dental practice
• Approximately 50 new patients per month
• Existing associate dentist with additional demand requiring another provider
• Monday–Thursday schedule, with potential to expand into Fridays
• Primarily one dedicated doctor operatory most days, with additional capacity on Mondays and potential Fridays
• Approximately 7 hygiene patients per day per hygienist
• Two hygienists
• Modern, cloud-based practice management software
• Pano and ScanX phosphor plate imaging
• Two intraoral scanners: Dandy and Straumann
• CareCredit, Cherry, and Sunbit financing options

Clinical Opportunity

• The ideal candidate will be comfortable providing comprehensive general dentistry in a busy, growing practice.
• Experience with the following is preferred:
  • Bread-and-butter restorative dentistry
  • Crowns and fillings
  • Clear aligners
  • Extractions
  • Root canals
  • Veneers
  • Removable partials and dentures
  • The practice provides clear aligner treatment through ClearCorrect, including Straumann and Dandy workflows. Advanced aligner cases are not required.
  • Botox experience is a plus but not required. The practice has an established Botox component and would welcome a dentist interested in developing this skill.
• The practice does not currently place implants.

Ideal Candidate

• The practice is ideally seeking a dentist with a few years of clinical experience who can work efficiently and confidently in a comprehensive general dentistry environment.
• The right candidate will be:
  • Clinically confident and relatively independent
  • Comfortable treating a broad range of general dentistry cases
  • Efficient in a busy practice
  • Patient-focused and committed to high-quality dentistry
  • Collaborative and willing to work as part of a close-knit team
  • Interested in growing with a practice that is actively expanding
• New graduates may be considered, but candidates with several years of experience are strongly preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

• • $500/day guaranteed rate OR 30% of collections, whichever is greater
  • Experienced dentists may be eligible for 32%+ of collections, depending on experience
  • Potential sign-on bonus
  • $2,000 annual CE allowance
  • 401(k) eligibility after one year
  • Additional benefits may be added as the practice continues to grow
