Job Description
We are actively recruiting a proficient Pediatric Dentist for a 72-day locum tenens assignment in Mississippi, commencing Sep 21, 2026. The client is seeking coverage for full-time, day shifts, where the successful candidate will provide essential pediatric dental services. This includes a broad spectrum of care such as hygiene checks, Invisalign, laser frenectomy for tongue and lip ties, braces, sedation, nitrous oxide administration, treatment of cavities and gum disease, preventative care, X-rays, dental crowns, comprehensive oral exams, and fluoride treatments.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform hygiene checks
- Administer Invisalign treatments
- Conduct Laser Frenectomy (Tongue and Lip Tie Releases)
- Manage braces applications
- Provide sedation
- Administer Nitrous Oxide
- Treat cavities
- Manage gum disease
- Offer preventative care
- Take X-Rays
- Install dental crowns
- Conduct oral exams
- Provide fluoride treatments
Additional Information
- Board certification in Pediatric Dentistry is required
- Typical shifts run from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
