Temporary Dentist – 4-Day PTO Coverage | Sioux City, IA

A modern, patient-focused dental office in Sioux City is seeking a temporary General Dentist to provide seamless PTO coverage this October. This well-established practice delivers quality comprehensive care to a dedicated local patient base in a comfortable, professional environment.

The incoming dentist will collaborate with a skilled, well-trained team consisting of two Dental Assistants, two Registered Dental Assistants, and a dedicated Hygienist to ensure an efficient workflow.

The Role:

• Location: Sioux City, IA 51104
• Schedule: October 5th – October 8th (Monday – Thursday)
• Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Patient Volume: 15–18 patients per day (including hygiene exams)
• Clinical Scope: Composite fillings (no amalgam), simple extractions (same-day capability preferred), hygiene exams, and optional CEREC posterior crowns for experienced providers
• Tech Stack: Open Dental charting software and CEREC technology
• Preferred Skills: Experience with CEREC CAD/CAM posterior crowns; CSR/DEA registration is preferred but not required
• Compensation: Competitive pay rate + comprehensive malpractice insurance coverage. Full travel costs covered, with client-provided lodging available if needed

What is Needed:

• Credentials: Active Iowa Dental License and current BLS certification
• Onboarding: Expedited 1-2 week credentialing timeframe
