GENERAL DENTIST – Bland, VA
Short-Term Locum Coverage | Correctional Setting
The Opportunity
ICON Dental is seeking a General Dentist for a short-term locum assignment at Jet Dental – Bland Correctional Center in Bland, Virginia. This is a three-day coverage need for a provider comfortable performing general dentistry in a correctional setting.
Assignment Details
Dates: September 8–10
Schedule: 8:30 AM–5:15 PM EST, all three days
Clinical Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental exams
- Provide restorative dental treatment
- Perform dental extractions
- Diagnose and address patients’ oral health needs
- Maintain efficient and professional patient care
Requirements
- DDS
- Appropriate dental licensure/credentials for the assignment
- Comfortable performing exams, restorative procedures, and extractions
- Background check required
- Copy of provider’s driver’s license required
- Completion of required background-check forms prior to assignment
