Locum Tenens | Multiple Coverage Dates | High-Volume Practice
The Opportunity
ICON Dental is seeking an experienced General Dentist for locum coverage in Blasdell, NY. This opportunity is ideal for a provider comfortable working in a busy clinical environment and confident performing a range of extractions, including surgical cases.
Assignment Details
Schedule:
-
Monday–Thursday: 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
-
Lunch: 12:00–1:00 PM
-
Friday: 8:00 AM–1:00 PM
-
No 8-hour guarantee on Fridays
Practice & Patient Volume
-
2 Registered Dental Hygienists
-
4 Dental Assistants
-
Approximately 7–8 new patients per day
-
Approximately 25–29 established patients per day
Clinical Responsibilities
-
General dentistry
-
Simple extractions
-
Surgical extractions
-
Full-mouth extractions
-
Exams, diagnosis, and treatment planning
-
Maintain efficient patient flow in a busy practice environment
Required Credentials
-
Active New York dental license
-
Active DEA with ALL schedules at the time of submission
-
Active CSR, if applicable, at the time of submission
-
Must be comfortable performing surgical extractions
-
Any clinical or procedural limitations must be disclosed at the time of submission
