Dentist - WI

Our client in Wisconsin is actively seeking a skilled Dentist for a 65-day assignment. This role involves general dentistry, with a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The incoming Dentist will primarily handle standard general dentistry procedures, seeing 8-10 patients per day in addition to supervising two staff hygienists managing six hygiene patients daily. Comfort working with children aged 9-14 is a key aspect of this role.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform basic restorative procedures including fillings, replacing existing restorations, and build-ups.
• Conduct routine and simple extractions, including some molar extractions.
• Manage crown and bridge work, including crown preps, temporary crowns, cementation, and bridges.
• Execute basic endodontic procedures, focusing on straightforward anterior and premolar root canals based on comfort level.
• Perform comprehensive exams and diagnostics, including new patient exams, periodic exams, emergency/limited exams, and X-ray review.
• Provide preventive care, including treatment planning, fluoride applications, and sealants.
• Address basic prosthodontics, such as dentures/partials, adjustments, and repairs.
• Handle emergency dentistry, including toothaches, broken teeth/restorations, infections, and other acute issues.

• Requirements: Must be comfortable working with children aged 9-14
