General Dentist Locums – 4 Days per Week, Apartment Provided | Missoula, MT

A growing Missoula dental practice is seeking a General Dentist for ongoing coverage beginning January 4, 2027. This opportunity offers a four-day workweek, modern clinical technology, and a furnished-by-practice housing arrangement in a two-bedroom apartment approximately six minutes from the office.

Clinical support includes an office manager who is also a hygienist, a treatment coordinator, 3–4 dental assistants, and four dental hygienists.

The Role:

• Location: Missoula, MT 59808
• Schedule: Four days per week, Monday–Friday, beginning January 4, 2027; ongoing
• Hours: 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
• Patient Volume: Approximately 8–12 scheduled patients plus hygiene checks, totaling approximately 20–30 patient encounters per dentist daily; the practice may see up to 10 new patients on a given day
• Clinical Scope: Fillings, crowns, bridges, root canal therapy, and extractions
• Tech Stack: Open Dental, CBCT scanner, TRIOS 5 intraoral scanner, iTero, and photogrammetry
• Preferred Skills: Invisalign experience is highly desirable; implant experience is a plus
• Compensation: Competitive pay based on clinical scope. A two-bedroom apartment approximately six minutes from the office and mileage reimbursement are provided.

What is Needed:

• Credentials: Clear, active Montana dental license and current BLS certification; DEA registration and Invisalign certification highly preferred
• Onboarding: Credentialing typically takes 1–2 weeks
• Practice Fit: A dentist comfortable balancing scheduled treatment with hygiene checks and collaborating with an established clinical support team
