Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Dentist for a 30-day assignment in California. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM. In this role, you will provide comprehensive general dentistry, serving as the primary dentist onsite, diagnosing conditions, developing treatment plans, and performing routine restorative and preventative procedures, including urgent dental visits.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide comprehensive general dentistry to an established patient population
- Function as the primary/solo dentist onsite
- Diagnose dental conditions and develop treatment plans
- Perform routine restorative and preventative procedures
- Handle urgent dental visits and same-day concerns
- Review imaging and document patient encounters
- Coordinate referrals for specialty care when necessary
- Work closely with dental assistants and clinic support staff
- Maintain appropriate quality, safety, and infection-control standards

- Setting: Outpatient (Clinic Only)
- Patients per day: 24
- LOA: 30 Days
- Staffing Mix: Dental assistants, 3 chair office
- Case types include comprehensive and periodic oral exams, routine and emergency evaluations, simple and surgical extractions, fillings, crowns and bridges, basic endodontic treatment, denture evaluations, x-ray review and diagnosis, treatment planning, local anesthesia, and management of dental infections and pain.
