Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Dentist specializing in Dentistry for a 1-day locum tenens assignment in Louisiana. This role involves a structured weekly schedule: Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:30a-5:30p, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:30a-3:30p, and Fridays from 7:30a-12:30p. The core responsibilities include performing surgical extractions, managing denture steps, and conducting comprehensive treatment planning in a busy dental practice.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform surgical extractions, including simple, surgical, and full mouth extractions.
- Manage denture steps and comprehensive treatment planning.
- See patients in a dental setting.
- Work alongside clinical staff.
Additional Information
- Required Certifications: Controlled Substances Registration (CSR), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).
- Call Schedule: No call required.
- Patients per day: 8-12 new patients and 12-15 established patients.
- LOA: 1 day.
- Staffing Mix: Clinical Staff includes 3 Dental Assistants (DA) and 1 Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH).
