About the POSITION:

We are seeking an experienced, compassionate General Dentist to join a growing, community-focused dental clinic in Chicago, Illinois.

This established Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) Look-Alike is dedicated to providing accessible, affordable, high-quality healthcare to individuals and families throughout the community. The organization emphasizes comprehensive, patient-centered care and takes an integrated approach to healthcare, bringing together medical, dental, behavioral health, and supportive services.

The dental program focuses on preventive care, patient education, and restorative dentistry, with a commitment to improving long-term oral health outcomes for patients of all ages.

Position Highlights:

• Join a growing dental program within a mission-driven community health organization.

• Provide comprehensive general dentistry to a diverse patient population, including children and adults.

• Must be comfortable treating pediatric patients and have prior experience working with children.

• Perform a full range of dental procedures, including:

  • Routine examinations and preventive care

  • Fillings, crowns, and bridges

  • Extractions and root canals

  • Restorative and cosmetic procedures

  • Diagnosis and treatment planning

• Work alongside experienced dental hygienists, assistants, and other healthcare professionals in a collaborative environment.

• Educate patients and families on oral hygiene, preventive dentistry, and treatment options.

• Utilize diagnostic imaging and modern dental techniques to deliver quality care.

Qualifications:

• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school.

• Active, unrestricted Illinois dental license.

• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience required.

• Pediatric dental experience required.

• Current CPR/BLS certification.

• Strong clinical, diagnostic, and treatment-planning skills.

• Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach.

• Experience with cosmetic dentistry or dental implants is a plus.

• Previous experience in an FQHC or community health setting is beneficial but not required.

About the COMP & BENEFITS:

Salary: $220,000–$245,000 annually, depending on experience.
