Job Description
Our client in California is actively seeking a Pediatric Dentist for a 9-day assignment. The schedule includes various dates, with shifts from 8 AM to 5 PM. The successful candidate will be responsible for seeing pediatric dental patients, managing a high patient volume, and performing a range of procedures including restorative work, fillings, hygiene checks, extractions, pulpotomies, and pulpectomies.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide comprehensive pediatric dental care to a high volume of patients.
- Perform restorative work, including fillings, hygiene checks, and cavity treatments.
- Conduct dental exams and perform extractions for pediatric patients.
- Apply stainless steel crowns, pulpotomies, and pulpectomies as needed.
- Manage a busy outpatient clinic schedule.
Additional Information
- Other Required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)
- EMR: Dentrix
- Setting: Outpatient (Clinic Only)
- Patients per day: 40-50
- LOA: 9 Days
- Staffing Mix: 1 permanent dentist, 4-6 assistants (1 per chair), office manager, treatment coordinator, receptionist
- Shift Hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
