Job Description
Our client in New Mexico is seeking a skilled Dentist for a 3-day assignment starting Nov 23, 2026. This role involves seeing pediatric dental patients Monday 9 AM - 5 PM, Tuesday 7 AM - 3 PM, and Friday 8 AM - 4 PM, performing a variety of restorative and general dental procedures with a high patient volume.
Responsibilities and Duties
- See pediatric dental patients, managing a high patient volume of up to 40-50 daily.
- Perform restorative work, fillings, hygiene checks, and dental exams.
- Handle various pediatric extractions, including stainless steel crowns, pulpotomies, and pulpectomies.
- Opportunity to provide Invisalign if desired, though not required.
Additional Information
- EMR: Dentrix
- Required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Conscious Sedation, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Setting: Outpatient (Clinic Only)
- Patients per day: 40-50
- LOA: 3 Days
- Staffing Mix: One permanent dentist, 4-6 assistants (one per chair), an office manager, a treatment coordinator, and a receptionist.
