Job Description
We are seeking a Dentist for a 2-day assignment in SC. The schedule involves shifts from 8 AM to 2:30 PM, sometimes extending to 3 PM, focusing on providing straightforward, basic dentistry including dental exams, hygiene exams, and restorative care for children in underserved communities.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform straightforward, basic dentistry with no complex procedures.
- Conduct dental exams and hygiene exams.
- Provide fillings and basic restorative care.
- Participate in a school-based dental program serving students in underserved communities.
- Perform occasional primary/baby tooth extractions.
- Conduct rare permanent tooth extractions for teenage patients when necessary.
- Focus on providing essential preventive and restorative dental care to children with limited access to dental services, excluding crowns, bridges, or complex restorative cases.
Additional Information
- EMR: Eaglesoft
- Setting: Outpatient (Clinic Only)
- Patients per day: 7-10 morning patients, 2-4 after lunch and checking hygiene
- LOA: 2 Days
- Staffing Mix: Front Desk Staff, OM, 2 DAs, Hygienists, Driver (Mr. Charlie)
