Job Description
We are actively seeking a highly skilled Dentist for a concise 2-day locum tenens assignment in Tennessee. This vital role involves delivering a broad spectrum of dental care procedures within a supportive single-doctor practice, diligently maintaining efficient patient flow and contributing to the overall operational success of the office. Scheduled shifts are from 8 AM to 5 PM on the designated assignment dates.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide comprehensive dental care to all patients
- Maintain efficient patient flow and support office operations
- Perform procedures including sedations and nitrous oxide administration
- Conduct stainless steel crown (SSC) placements, pulpotomies, fillings, and various extractions
- Apply Silver Diamine Fluoride (SDF)
- Execute endodontic treatments and wisdom tooth extractions
Additional Information
- EMR: Denticon
- Required Certifications: Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Medicaid Certification, Nitrous Oxide Certification
- Patients per day: 15-25
- LOA: 2 Days
- Staffing Mix: 1 DMD, 2 Dental Assistants (DAs)
