The Opportunity
Join a short-term assignment with the enthusiastic and connected team at a practice, located in Denham Springs, LA. This opportunity is ideal for a motivated and easy-going provider who enjoys working in a collaborative, camaraderie-focused office culture. This position is seeking a provider to assist with exams and emergency visits along with bread and butter dentistry, while maintaining smooth patient flow alongside a supportive and energetic team. Additionally, the provider is great with patients and team and has a positive attitude. Restorative, removables, extractions, and endo at any capacity to reduce patients being referred out, and Invisalign certified would be a huge bonus. This office has a good patient base and needs a provider that can jump in.
Assignment Details
Temp Position - Vacation coverage
Dates: 10/26/26-1/12/27
Schedule:
10/26 - 10/28 then 12/14 - 12/23 (M, T, W dates are 8a-5p, Thurs date is 8a-4p and Friday date is 8a-1p)
Additional dates: 12/8, 12/9, 1/11, 1/12 (8a-5p)

What You’ll Do
• Examining patients to determine oral health needs, utilizing x-rays and other diagnostic equipment and procedures
• Provide exams and emergency dental care in an outpatient setting
• Deliver efficient, patient-focused treatment while maintaining daily workflow
• Assist with leading and supervising office team members
• Staying productive during both slower and busier teams
• Focus on patient experience and support a developing office
• Maintain accurate documentation and continuity of care
Requirements
• DDS or DMD from an accredited program
• Active state dental license
• Prior dental experience required
• Clinical knowledge to practice comprehensive dentistry, including diagnosis and treatment of oral health issues
• Comfortable handling exams and emergency visits in a fast-paced setting
