Dentist - SC

We are seeking a dedicated Dentist for a 5-day assignment in SC. The role involves Monday through Friday coverage, with typical shifts from 8 AM to 4:30 PM and a shorter day on Friday. This solo provider outpatient clinic focuses on comprehensive general dentistry, including crown preparations, restorative procedures, and hygiene checks, with opportunities to manage dental sleep medicine cases.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform comprehensive general dentistry.
• Conduct crown preparations and restorative dentistry.
• Provide fillings and routine dental procedures.
• Handle implant restorations (no implant placement).
• Fit dentures and removable prosthetics.
• Perform hygiene checks and examinations.
• Offer emergency dental care.
• Treat obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) using oral appliances.
• Review and approve patient scans and measurements.
• Deliver, fit, and adjust sleep appliances.
• Oversee appliance delivery, fit, and necessary adjustments for sleep appliances.

• EMR: Eaglesoft
• Setting: Outpatient (Clinic Only)
• Patients per day: Approximately 25–30, including procedures and hygiene.
• LOA: 5 Days
• Staffing Mix: 3 Dental Assistants, 2 Hygiene, 1 Sleep Coordinator, 1 Office Manager, 2 Front Office staff.
• Requirements: Dental sleep medicine experience preferred but not required. The client seeks a provider who can assist with this, but it is not required as long as all general dentistry cases can be completed.
