Job Description
We are seeking an Oral Surgeon to join a high-demand, well-established practice in Dothan, AL on a PRN/part-time basis. This opportunity offers exceptional earning potential, a strong referral network, and the ability to work within a growing practice that supports clinical autonomy and long-term professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Perform oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures, including extractions, implants, and dentoalveolar surgery
- Evaluate, diagnose, and develop comprehensive surgical treatment plans
- Collaborate with general dentists and referring providers to ensure continuity of care
- Educate patients on procedures, risks, and post-operative care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Deliver high-quality patient care while maintaining strong clinical standards
Qualifications
- DMD or DDS from an accredited dental school
- Completion of an accredited Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency program
- Active Alabama dental license in good standing
- Strong surgical and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with dental implants and advanced surgical procedures
- Interest in expanding into hospital-based surgery
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Ability to manage a high-volume patient flow
