Job Description
We are seeking an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Dentist for an 84-day assignment in Wisconsin. This flexible position involves working 4 days/week every other week, with potential for adjustments to daily hours (Monday-Saturday). The role requires a solo provider to manage comprehensive oral and maxillofacial surgical cases, including extractions with sedation, implants, and consultations, with a long-term need until the practice transitions.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Serve as the solo provider for the practice, managing all aspects of patient care.
- Perform extractions with sedation, including wisdom teeth removal.
- Conduct consultations related to oral and maxillofacial surgery.
- Execute exposure and bonding of teeth procedures.
- Perform dental implant placements.
- Manage a morning schedule of approximately four staggered sedation cases, potentially including follow-up appointments.
- Oversee afternoon appointments primarily focused on local anesthesia procedures and consultations, supported by a dedicated team.
Additional Information
- Board Certifications: Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
- Setting: Outpatient (Clinic Only)
- Patients per day: 15 PPD plus follow-ups
- LOA: 84 Days
- Staffing Mix: 3 Dental Assistants per sedation case; 2 Dental Assistants for afternoon consults, with one transitioning to treatment coordinator.
