Job Description
We are seeking an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon for a 124-day assignment in North Carolina. The schedule ideally runs Monday–Thursday or Monday–Friday, from approximately 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with some flexibility. The selected dentist will perform a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery procedures, including extractions, implants, and bone grafting, and must be comfortable seeing Medicaid patients.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Serve as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon.
- Perform the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery procedures appropriate to the practice.
- Manage Simple and Surgical Extractions.
- Handle Wisdom Teeth / Impacted Tooth Removal.
- Execute Dental Implant Placement.
- Perform Bone Grafting.
- Conduct Alveoloplasty.
- Manage Incision and Drainage of Dental Abscesses.
- Perform Biopsies / Oral Lesion Removal.
- Conduct Frenectomy.
- Perform Exposure and Bonding of Impacted Teeth.
- Execute Pre-Prosthetic Surgery.
- Provide Treatment of Facial/Dental Trauma.
- Perform Cyst Removal / Enucleation.
- Conduct Sinus Lifts.
- Perform Apicoectomy.
- Administer IV Sedation / General Anesthesia.
- Demonstrate comfort traveling between office locations based on scheduling and coverage needs.
- Must be able to see Medicaid patients.

- Setting: Outpatient (Clinic Only)
- Patients per day: Approx 20–30 patients per day, including consultations. Number of daily surgeries varies.
- LOA: 124 Days
- Staffing Mix: Full support team - hygiene, DAs, etc
