Locum Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon | Shasta County Area

A prominent local OMS and Implant Center seeks a dedicated Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon for a mid-October start. This rewarding opportunity offers a flexible start date in a vibrant Northern California setting.

A dedicated support team, including three front office staff, three assistants, and one sterile technician, ensures a streamlined daily workflow.

The Role: Shasta County Area / Northern California

• Location:
• Schedule: 3 to 4 days per week (Monday through Thursday)
• Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch break
• Patient Volume: 10–12 patients per day (mostly teenage sedations; youngest patient would be 8 years old, and elderly extractions under local)
• Clinical Scope: 8–10 sedations, 2–3 local extractions/bone grafts, 3–5 implants weekly, and simple biopsies (no full arch cases)
• Tech Stack: WINOMS charting software
• Preferred Skills: Experience with Medi-CAL (required), Delta, and Signa insurances
• Compensation: Competitive pay rate + comprehensive malpractice insurance coverage (local candidates or those able to drive in are preferred; lodging and airfare will be considered if necessary)

What is Needed:

• Credentials: Active California License, current BLS certification, Medi-CAL enrollment, DEA Preferred, and PALS preferred
• Onboarding: 1–2 weeks fast-track onboarding
• Practice Fit: A collaborative professional who appreciates peer support, as an experienced colleague will be available to assist with the transition, sedations, and consults.
