An established orthodontic practice in the Twin Cities east metro area is seeking a skilled locum Orthodontist to support patient care across two convenient regional locations. This position offers an immediate start with a streamlined workflow, a strong patient base, and a collaborative clinical environment.

The practice is fully equipped with dedicated administrative staff, a Treatment Coordinator, a Financial Coordinator, and a robust team of 5 Clinical Assistants to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.

The Role:

• Location: Woodbury, MN 55125 & Cottage Grove, MN 55016
• Schedule: Flexible 3-month assignment with option to extend; floating between Woodbury and Cottage Grove locations. Monday & Tuesday (7:15 AM – 4:30 PM), Wednesday (7:15 AM – 12:00 PM), Thursday (7:15 AM – 12:30 PM).
• Hours: Monday–Tuesday 7:15 AM – 4:30 PM; Wednesday–Thursday 7:15 AM – 12:00 PM / 12:30 PM.
• Patient Volume: Up to 50 patients per day across a diverse patient demographic (child, adolescent, and adult).
• Clinical Scope: New patient exams, consultations, observation checks, starts (Phase 1, Comprehensive, Surgical, Spark, Invisalign, Fixed appliances), adjustments, refinements, bonding, debonding, emergencies, and retainer checks.
• Tech Stack: iTero scanners, digital X-rays, DentalMonitoring (DM), Victory brackets by 3M.
• Preferred Skills: Proficiency with both fixed appliances and clear aligner systems (Spark/Invisalign), along with remote monitoring tools.
• Compensation: Competitive pay rate + comprehensive malpractice insurance coverage. Travel and lodging support available via weekly reimbursement for non-local candidates.

What is Needed:

• Credentials: Active Minnesota Dental License and completion of an accredited Orthodontic Residency program; current BLS certification.
• Onboarding: 1–2 weeks fast-track onboarding.
• Practice Fit: A personable, efficient, and patient-centered clinician ready to maintain high-quality care and smooth practice flow during a temporary vacancy.
