Pediatric Dentist - MO

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Dentist for a locum tenens position at a dental clinic in Missouri. This 24-day assignment offers coverage on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, starting 08/04/2025. The ideal candidate will be comfortable performing a wide range of pediatric dental procedures, including comprehensive exams, tooth-colored composite fillings, extractions, space maintainers, preventive sealants, pulpotomies, stainless steel crowns, nitrous oxide administration, permanent tooth root canals, and permanent tooth crowns. As the sole dentist working in this position, the provider will be responsible for all aspects of pediatric dental care. This opportunity presents an excellent chance for a dedicated professional to provide comprehensive pediatric dental services in a clinic setting, with potential for assignment extension.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform comprehensive dental exams for pediatric patients

• Conduct tooth-colored composite fillings

• Carry out extractions when necessary

• Install space maintainers

• Apply preventive sealants

• Perform pulpotomies

• Place stainless steel crowns

• Administer nitrous oxide as needed

• Complete permanent tooth root canals

• Install permanent tooth crowns

• Provide patient and parent education on oral health and hygiene

• Maintain accurate and timely patient records using CareStack system

• Ensure high-quality patient care and follow all clinic protocols and safety standards

• Adapt to existing workflows and practices in the clinic

• Work independently as the sole dentist on site
