About the Position:

An established pediatric-focused dental practice in the Palm Harbor, FL area is currently seeking a General or Pediatric Dentist with a strong background in pediatric care. This opportunity is ideal for someone who not only enjoys working with children and young adults but also thrives in a collaborative and patient-first environment. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience treating pediatric patients and an understanding that this is a pediatrics-only position.

This practice treats patients as guests and embraces a team culture where providers are truly valued as part of a close-knit dental family.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote oral health and preventive care for children

  • Diagnose and treat pediatric oral health conditions

  • Educate patients and their families on proper oral hygiene and available treatment options

  • Develop individualized treatment plans

  • Monitor dental and facial development throughout childhood and adolescence

  • Deliver high-quality restorative and preventive care

  • Maintain thorough and accurate patient records

  • Uphold the highest ethical and professional standards

  • Stay current through continuing education and evolving best practices

Qualifications:

  • DDS or DMD from an ADA-accredited institution

  • Active Florida dental license

  • At least 1 year of experience in pediatric dentistry; specialty training is a plus

  • A genuine passion for working with children

  • Strong communication skills and a team-first mentality
